One example demonstrating the breadth of our international representations involved a joint venture between a Japanese steel company and a trading company to create a successful U.S. steel company, whose financing included industrial development bonds.
Our securities practice involves advising foreign and domestic corporations with respect to their obligations under the U.S. securities laws. This includes registration of public offerings of debt and equity securities, private placements of securities in the U.S. and abroad, and assistance in all aspects of compliance and dealing with the SEC and the stock exchanges, including Exchange Act filings.
