Chizuko Ueno Joins Firm as Partner to Head Japanese Practice

The Firm is please to announce that Chizuko Ueno has joined the firm as a Partner as of August 25th, 2008.

Ms. Ueno previously worked with Japanese clients both in the New York office and the Tokyo office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed.  She will head our Japanese practice.  She is a graduate of Waseda University in Tokyo where she received a BA with a major in law and an MA in Anglo American Legal Studies.  She went on to Harvard Law School where she earned an LLM, magna cum laude.
