Johnston has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Center for Latin American Issues (CLAI), an academic center within The George Washington University's School of Business and Public Management. CLAI is dedicated to encouraging study, discussion and research on major political, economic, developmental and social issues affecting Latin America.
