JooYun Kim
JooYun Kim practices primarily in the area of commercial litigation. She has worked on a variety of matters, including cross-border contract disputes, securities fraud class actions, a legal malpractice claim against a foreign attorney, direct and derivative claims against corporate directors and officers, Securities and Exchange Commission investigations, fraud claims against an insurance company and delistings of companies from a prominent stock exchange. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kim was a litigation associate at a large New York law firm. Ms. Kim was also a pro bono intern at the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Unit where she worked on cases involving criminal deportees.
Ms. Kim graduated from Amherst College (B.A., magna cum laude, 1998) and from New York University School of Law (J.D. 2001), where she was the recipient of the AnBryce scholarship. She is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of New York, and is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
